Guests for gloomy Monday at the Black Dog Tribe Views: 5949

Well, we made it through the day, this is officially the most gloomy day of the year when people are statistically more likely to feel low and miserable. So if you are reading this, be heartened, there are only a few more hours to go and the only way is up from here, as far as this year goes general moodwise apparently! So I've been a member of The Black Dog Tribe for some time now, never a very frequent member of anything but an occasional browser and reader of newsletters and I happened upon the campaign that they are currently running with SANE called Blue Mood Month. A wonderful call for people to share their artistic creations of all sorts with the world in an effort to banish the blues and help raise awareness about mental illness. As some of you  know I have been an active capaigner against mental health discrimination all my adult life and have become more militant of late! Being a sharing sort I sent in a new version of 'Bordering on Bedlam' the song from the album about borderline personality disorder. It's here is you'd like to see the post on the Black Dog website and I am dead chuffed they posted it and tweeted it all over!http://blackdogtribe.com/people-like-you/blue-monday-guest-post-bordering-bedlam-sandy

I hope it resonates with some, maybe cheers a few and generally helps in the battle against stigma and prejudice. Here endeth the lesson!

Much love xxxx
