A feast of Easter folk in Gosport, a hoedown in Portsmouth and the last chance to vote in the Kevin Thorpe award! Views: 5309
The WB year of viral infestations continues with the Bluesman being thwarted by the most virulent of the infections this year yet. The curl fair went out of his hair and the twang from his strings. The medication he was on made for a few humourous moments at the last rehearsal which he valiantly made like a true professional! I have it on good authority that he is on the mend now and we are all just about fit for tomorrows Easter festivities.
At 1.30 we will be found strutting our stuff for the Springtime Hometown Hoedown at the Wedge + the Edge http://www.wedgewood-rooms.co.uk/ and later in the evening, about at the Feast of Easter Folk event at the Gosport Masonic Hall http://webplus.barkingspider.abelgratis.com/tickets/ There is a plethora of live music going on this weekend here in the local areas, you will all be spoilt for choice! Lucky lot!
Tomorrow is also the last chance you will have to vote for us in the UK Blues awards. Paul Stiles' voting page is here: Uk Blues Today Voting so please do visit it and take the couple of minutes it takes to vote for us! There have been 60 songs nominated and we are so chuffed to have been considered for such an honour.
