Artistic frenzy again, we were busily writing again last night. The latest song is called If Can Do, not necessarily the title that will stay with it but it is the title it was born with. I wrote the lyrics in the garden about a month ago, they came very fast. I was seriously pleased with them and have spent lots of time trying to find the right music to fit. I thought it was a blues song but it wasn't, every time we tried different blues styles it just wasn't right. Then a few days ago Andy was noodling (I might have been making a cup of tea, it often seems to happen that way during a break in rehearsals) about and kept playing the same riff over and over. 

'That's it!' Musical female dives for the 'songs by me' book (yes I am that sad!) which contains the lyrics with no or only partial music, and starts improvising over the top of the riff until the song was done. Sorted!
