Last night Walker Broad were dusted off and set out for the Tongues and Grooves event http://www.tongues-and-grooves.org.uk/ We were supplying the music (mainly) for the evening, there were a couple of great open mic musicians as well who's names I did not catch but they were both great. The T&G audience were seriously lovely, very attentive and being someone who wants the words written to be listened to as much as the music, it was really lovely for me. We didn't get so long to play but the real purpose of the evening is the poetry so not grumbling. The evening was hosted by Janet Ayers, a vocal coach who runs lots of singing groups in the local area.Check out http://www.janetayers.blogspot.com/ for more info.  She was a hoot, really natural talent for being the hostess with the mostess!

Next stop for us Jagz in Ascot, little bit exciting! Whoop whoop!!
