What a great evening we have had playing at the Platform Tavern in Southampton http://www.platformtavern.com/ as Bob Longs Special Guests at his Jam night. Wonderful atmosphere and the audience were really interactive and appreciative. 

Despite having probable pneumonia I managed to hold my own. We started with a down and out blueser so that any croakiness would just seem to be part of the song! Good plan eh?!?! 

Also having an outing were Bob Long himself of course  http://www.bobalong.co.uk/ and a couple of members of a local blues band Steamer who are also members of the Riverside Blues Band http://www.riversidebluesband.co.uk/ . All really enjoyable. There were also two solo acts who have just started out who did a few numbers.

If you've never been to the Platform Tavern before I would recommend it, they have lots of music there and the decor is fab and they do a mean line in fish restraunting!

Absolutely plum tuckered now and off to bed with a cuppa to rejuvenate the vocal chords. No I do not snore!
