Live in the studio, OneWorldRadio Views: 2877
Lovely evening we had yesterday live in the studio on OneWorldRadio http://oneworldradio.org.uk as guests on Steve Sheppard's Friday rock day. Not quite rock are we, but I think we got away with it! We were live for about 1 1/4 hours playing and chatting. Steve played some music from our cd and from some of Andy's other acts cds too which really helped set the scene for the live set. They have a wide audience which is worldwide, not just local so who knows who was listening in!?!? Very cool.
The session was really informal and Steve went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and relaxed. It's a great set up they have there and the radio station runs 24hrs a day. We sang our newest composition 'If Can Do' which went down well, Andy's fingers ran away with him on Bordering on Bedlam and I managed not to cough so loud that the mics exploded. Overall very much fun and I am looking forward to hearing it for myself this evening! -UPDATE - it's at 10pm!
Lots of people we know were listening too and we had some lovely comments, thanks guys! If you missed it, do not fret there is another chance to catch the show tonight (30/07/2011) probably about 2030hrs. Check the schedule on the site for the exact times. This is an internet radio station so can only be listened to if you're online.
Busy month coming up, next gig at the Art House http://www.thearthousesouthampton.co.uk/index.htm in Southampton on the 2nd of August for the opening of their Summer Show.
Much love xxx
