Two years of Walker Broad, anniversary time! Views: 2157
Well, what an occasion! It is around now that the anniversary of Walker Broad happens (not so hot on dates) and this year marks two years of working together. It has gone really fast and we have done loads in that time! To mark the occasion we have just finished our 23rd and a half song - 'What about now?'. Very pleasing indeed.
As you know we are in the middle of recording our first album which we have far too many songs to fit on and now have enough material for the second album.
23 and a half songs, hmm, how's that you say? Well, remember Centrepiece? The song that is in the Joni Mitchell classic Harry's House? I wrote two more verses but the first two verses and the music belong to Lambert and Edison, so only half of it is mine, lyric wise anyway.
We have also spent the evening playing blues tunes, 12 bars and 8 bars, that after eating a rather splendid curry and then rounded off with the new song. Not a bad way to celebrate the end of the second year of working I reckon! Next years plans? World domination obviously!
